Do You Treat Others How You Want To Be Treated?
All throughout the Bible we find this message, these are the words of Jesus Christ no less, but how often do we apply these words to our life?

There is so much truth, inspiration, and encouragement contained within this verse. The Bible was given to us by God, passed down to us through His servants. This makes the Bible profitable for “doctrine” which means “instruction”.

The Bible is always relevant to our lives. No matter what we may be going through, you better believe there is sound advice to be found in God’s Word.

As the days pass, our world becomes more of a mess. Less God, less truth, more lies, more wickedness. This is when I remind myself, we are almost home.

Life brings us many questions, but we typically find few answers. Some questions we just cannot seem to answer, times of turmoil seem to bring this out the most. Yet, Matthew 7:7 offers the best advice we could ever hope to obtain.

Rejoice in each and every day the Lord has made. It is another day to tell your family you love them, and another day to do something good for God.

When we find ourselves placed in a difficult situation in life, this simple verse provides all the advice we need.

The words of men always seem to instill fear in us which brings about a snare being a trap. Yet, God’s Words always bring confidence, security, and hope.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to see one of my ol college buddies and his family. We had not seen him and his wife in about 10 years, and it had been at least 15 years since we had a family visit. As we sat around the table eating Pho with our families, he asked how I became a Christian.

You know, a lot of people think they have to transform themselves from their sinful state into this perfect person before they come to God. They think they have to clean up all their sin, on their own no less, before ever talking to God. Nothing could be further from the truth.

In this dark world, God’s Word is the light we need to illuminate our path. We found an interesting example of this, but not as you might expect.

Jesus Christ is the vine, we are the branches, and our Heavenly Father is the husbandman who trims the branches.
